Mina Nazari from Iran’s utility company receives a PRO PR GLOBE

Mina Nazari received her PRO PR GLOBE award at a ceremony in Belgrade last week. Ms. Nazari was IPRA’s nomination from 2023. She is manager for public relations and communications at the Power Distribution Company of Tabriz. The PRO PR GLOBE awards are organised by Croatian PR agency, Apriori World. The awards recognise individuals whose work contributes to a better perception of PR by the public. IPRA’s representative to the PRO PR GLOBE awards is board member Jacqueline Purcell.

The Board of the International Public Relations Association chaired by IPRA President, Nataša Pavlović Bujas, has set up a Committee with prominent academics and practitioners to create Ethical Guidelines for the usage of artificial intelligence (AI) in communications. Trustworthy and ethical PR in the AI era is the IPRA President's theme for 2024. These new comprehensive guidelines will help practitioners navigate the emerging world of generative AI. This may be a first step towards its regulation.
