University of London’s ‘Worldwide Conversation’ PDF
The University of London’s ‘Worldwide Conversation’ 2018 on gender equality in higher education and the workplace, took place in multiple countries over three continents. The Worldwide Conversation started in London, with a keynote from Shauna Olney (UN) and discussion by a panel of influential women, chaired by the UK’s first Asian High Court Judge. The conversations were instrumental in keeping the equality debate alive worldwide, particularly in countries where women are unable to challenge. It also marked the University of London’s 150th anniversary, celebrating the introduction of ‘Special Examinations for Women’, making it the first UK University to do so.
