The Blind and the City is an attempt to tell users what blind people feel, what problems and challenges they face in their everyday life, and how they overcome them. This project is more than just another report or article. It relies on virtual reality to provide an immersive experience enabling users to feel what it is like to be blind, and try to handle situations faced by people with visual impairments. The project targets a wide audience and is available on smartphones, with an augmented reality headset (including cardboard headsets).
