The Semáforo Oncológico is the first and only initiative in Peru, which was born to inform all citizens about the advances of National Cancer Law and to supervise its execution by using the colors of a traffic light: red, yellow and green. This was an initiative of 10 cancer patients' association: Lazo Rosado Peru, Con L de Leukemia, Reprolacc, Peruvian Association Vidas Sin Cáncer, Colectivo Ciudadano Pacientes del Perú, Luz de Esperanza, Educando Perú, Onco vida Perú, Unos días con Bobby and A-Cáncer Perú, who have been fighting to dignify the cancer patients care, advocating for public policies.
