My Sister is a corporate social responsibility project that economically empowers women in Turkey. My Sister increases business skills of women with capacity building trainings by young volunteers on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and information and communication technologies (ICT); facilitates women’s products access to and visibility in markets; strengthens local and regional cooperation and networking; and matches women with business mentors. 9339 women in the least developed regions of Turkey benefited from innovative networks, capacity building trainings, and mentorship for participating in the labor force. Preliminary results suggest that 25% of beneficiaries took an initiative to enter the labor force.
