Museum of Civilian Voices PDF
Russian military aggression against Ukraine began in 2014, when Russia occupied the Crimea, Luhansk and Donetsk regions. In 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion, this war has affected 44 million Ukrainians. The new phase of aggression prompted the Museum of Civilian Voices of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation to create a national archive of stories from civilians affected by the war, which now has more than 65,000 stories told first-hand. This is an invaluable source of knowledge for scientific and media community. Storytelling is also a therapeutic tool that helped thousands of Ukrainians cope with the psychological trauma of the war.
