In 2018, Indonesia played host to the one of the biggest multi sport event in the world, the 18th Asian Games Jakarta – Palembang 2018. The Indonesian government then established Indonesia Asian Games 2018 Organizing Committee or INASGOC as the national committee that reported directly to the President of Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, with three main focus, namely to succeed in infrastructure, in organizing the event, and achievements. INASGOC sought cooperation with Telkom as the biggest telco operator, to become official prestige partner to support the success in hosting the Asian Games, by providing infrastructure and world-class broadband connectivity.
