In May-June 2018, EVRAZ organized running events dubbed Dai Pyat’! in several towns where its production facilities are located. Initially a sports event for employees, the initiative developed into town-wide mass running events, first-ever in Nizhniy Tagil and Novokuznetsk. With over 12,000 runners and supporters participating, these towns entered the TOP-10 of Russian communities that host running events. This year, it became the headline sports event for EVRAZ. It improved the key performance metrics of the Corporate Communications as a function. In a recent company-wide employee engagement survey, employees noted Dai Pyat’! as a positive change in the company.
