On July 12, 2022, the Council of the European Union adopted the Decision of the Council (EU) on the adoption of the euro in Croatia on January 1, 2023, making Croatia the 20th member of the euro area. Euro Day was part of the national campaign to support Croatia entering euro zone. We organized four Euro Days in four major cities in Croatia four weekends in a row. The activities where focused on making sure we familiarize euro as our new currency and communicate it to all our target groups ie. all citizens of Croatia which was successfully done.
