The final judging of the 2024 IPRA Golden World Awards for Excellence in PR will be held in Croatia for the first time. This year from 3 – 5 July, Zagreb will be a hub for gathering senior public relations experts from all over the world. The 2024 jury comprises 48 judges.
The host in Zagreb is Manjgura, a multiple award-winning agency that has just returned from London with two Polaris Awards for successful political communication campaigns.
Manjgura is also a finalist in the GWA itself this year with two projects. One was for the Association of Croatian Judges that resulted in the largest and well-deserved increase in judges' salaries in recent history. The second project is The Wolf of Wall Street Conference, which earlier won the only gold in the Grand PRrix of the Croatian Public Relations Association competition. The agency has also been a Finalist in previous GWA competitions.
Manjgura is led by one of the most successful PR experts in the region, Krešimir Macan, who has been advising clients from the corporate, political, and public sectors for 27 years. "We are extremely proud of this recognition of our work, especially when we know what kind of campaigns emerge in competition. The individual approach and comprehensive solutions that Manjgura offers to clients proved to be a winning combination this time as well", said Krešimir Macan.

Background to the Golden World Awards for Excellence.
The annual IPRA Golden World Awards (GWA) initiative, established in 1990, recognizes excellence in public relations practice worldwide in a variety of categories. Recipients of the award take particular pride in the recognition granted to their entry as meeting international standards of excellence in public relations. An overall IPRA Grand Prix for Excellence is presented each year to the entry judged as representing the highest standards that year. While there are many national and regional PR awards, there is only one truly global scheme: the GWA.
