SelfHealers Circle founder Nicole LePera receives IPRA President’s Award 2023

The 2023 IPRA President’s Award has been given to Dr. Nicole LePera, founder of SelfHealers Circle.
Commenting on the award, IPRA President 2023 Dr. Anne-Gret Iturriaga Abarzua says: “I am pleased to recognize Nicole LePera with the IPRA President’s Award. Dr. LePera's outstanding contribution to better world understanding is her recognition that before people can understand the world, they must understand themselves”.
SelfHealers Circle is a global, self-led, community-based healing membership with an ethos that with the right tools, everyone has the power to be their own healer.
Upon receiving the award, Dr LePera said: “I am so deeply honoured to accept this year’s IPRA President’s Award. My work is aimed at empowering individuals to heal from their past so that they can realize their own potential. I truly believe we are all capable of healing and of having the opportunity to create a fulfilling life for ourselves. It means so much to have my work recognized and to be a part of this global movement whose impact continues to spread to all those who are seeking change."
The IPRA President’s Award was founded in 1977 and is presented annually to an organization or individual to recognize an “outstanding contribution to better world understanding”. Previous recipients of the award include the 30% Club, Zeit Online, The International Red Cross, The Nobel Foundation, UNESCO, Amnesty International, Transparency International, WWF, The Economist and The National Geographic Society.

Background to Dr. Lepera
Dr. Nicole LePera was trained in clinical psychology at Cornell University and the New School for Social Research. As a clinical psychologist in private practice, Dr. LePera was frustrated by the limitations of traditional psychotherapy. Wanting more she began a journey to develop a united philosophy of mental, physical, and spiritual health that equips people with the tools necessary to heal themselves. Dr. LePera founded SelfHealers Circle in 2018. The Circle is a global, self-led, community-based healing membership and helps make the practical tools for healing accessible to everyone. Dr. Lepera has a substantial social media presence on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. She is the author of several books on self-healing and self-discovery.
