IPRA President remembers the Florence Flood of 1966

IPRA 2016 President, Bart de Vries, will speak on the topic of the Florence Flood of 50 years ago, at an event this week in Milan, Italy.
Speaking alongside IPRA Member Toni Muzi Falcone, the event commemorates the 50th anniversary of the 1966 flood, by the promotion of scientific, cultural and communication projects, but above all to take effective action to minimise the impact of damage on people, cultural heritage, the economy and the environment in future disasters.
