IPRA, the International Public Relations Association, has signed a formal partnership agreement with the Turkish Public Relations Association (Türkiye Halkla İlişkiler Derneği) (TUHID). This re-affirms the historic connection between the organisations. Under the agreement, inter alia, the organisations will exchange information, share publications and help promote the ethical development of the PR profession with our codes and guidelines.
“I am thrilled to welcome TUHID to our IPRA family. Gathering professionals worldwide not only helps the levelling-up of public relations but also helps mutual understanding and the building of trust among nations," comments IPRA President Nataša Pavlović Bujas.
Commenting on the agreement TUHID President İpek Özgüden Özen said, “The shared vision of the Turkish Public Relations Association (TÜHİD) and IPRA serves as a vital bridge for shaping a stronger, more innovative, and sustainable future in public relations."

Background to TUHID
The Turkish Public Relations Association was founded in 1972 to bring together public relations experts in Turkey under one roof, to provide interprofessional solidarity, and to work towards the recognition, establishment and development of the profession. The Association early on established connections with IPRA and other international organizations. Today, the vast majority of the association members are experts who have accepted the public relations profession as their professional identity. For more see www.tuhid.org
