IPRA, the International Public Relations Association, has signed a co-operation agreement with the Middle East Public Relations Association MEPRA. Under the agreement, inter alia, the organisations will exchange materials such as IPRA’s Thought Leadership essays and know-how to help with the development of the PR profession.

As the largest membership organisation for both in-house and agency PR practitioners in the Middle East, the Middle East Public Relations Association seeks to support the advancement of the practice, and excellence in the delivery, of public relations as well as providing forums to bring leading practitioners together and support the professional development of our members,”  says Jonty Summers MEPRA Chair. “In these we share common bonds with IPRA, which, in over 60 years of operations, has consistently championed the highest standards of ethical practice in public relations. We look forward to forging productive international links between our memberships”.

IPRA is working with national PR Associations connecting communications professionals from all over the world into an ecosystem that addresses some of the most complex challenges in the PR industry," explains IPRA President Svetlana Stavreva. “Our co-operation agreement with MEPRA presents an opportunity for Middle East PR talent to tap world-class PR know-how, to collaborate with our Golden World Awards competition, and as a result, help to elevate the role the Middle East plays in our interconnected world.”
