IPRA, the International Public Relations Association, has signed a co-operation agreement with Logeion, the Dutch association for communications professionals.
Reacting to the agreement, Wieneke Buurman, chairman of the Board of Logeion said: “We are actively reaching out to international communications organisations around the world to learn from their experience and knowledge to further develop the communications profession in the Netherlands. The agreement with the well-known IPRA will give us access to a network of highly-respected, international communications professionals. We look forward to exchange best-practices such as the IPRA Though Leadership Essays and provide the 4000 Logeion members with other benefits of the agreement we signed, including support to enter the annual IPRA Golden World Awards.”
“IPRA is working with national PR Associations connecting communications professionals from all over the world into an ecosystem that addresses some of the most complex challenges in the PR industry," explains IPRA President Svetlana Stavreva. “Our co-operation agreement with Logeion recalls the very origins of IPRA, founded over 60 years ago between Dutch and British PR professionals.”
