As the world became serious about Artificial Intelligence, IPRA realised that there was a global need to ensure that the ethical communication championed by IPRA for 70 years is not compromised by a new technology. First, we created the IPRA AI and PR guidelines. Secondly, we launched a Chapter to ensure we stay on top of developments and can intervene as required.
Objectives
- The Chapter will encourage the ethical and responsible use of AI in public relations.
- The Chapter will empower PR professionals with the knowledge, tools, and ethical guidelines needed to navigate the evolving landscape of AI and PR.
Based on these objectives, the Chapter will pursue strategies under three themes:
- Work with the best people within IPRA and elsewhere
- Gather knowledge
- Impart knowledge
For information on how to participate please contact the IPRA Secretariat using our contact form here.
